(I received these green tips from Sun & Earth November e-Newsletter, interesting!!)
This first tip won't help the Field Crew at Citizen's Bank Park (Home of the Philadelpha Phillies) keep the grass in tip-top shape, but it may save you a few bucks on your next water bill. If you have an older style toilet, this works well.
Fill a 1/2 gallon plastic jug with water. Replace the cap
and tighten. Remove the cover from your toilet tank. Place
the filled jug into the tank. You're finished. You just saved
yourself 1/2 gallon of water per flush.
**This tip was brought to you by the previous owner of my house. We removed the toilet tank cover one day and noticed it.
This next pointer is great for those who suffer from respiratory ailments.
In certain geographical parts of our country, the cold
weather is here. In others, it's almost here. And in a few
areas, it never arrives. is important to you
and your family's health, so clean responsibly when the windows
and doors are all sealed-up. Be careful not to use your spray
cleaner unnecessarily. Try this...spray your microfiber cloth
and wipe surfaces clean.
During the cold months, homes have heaters running, fireplaces lit,
and wood-burning stoves burning...all of which can affect your
indoor air quality. Try using natural cleaners around the house as
they do not negatively impact your indoor air quality.
